Read more...Clearly, I have not been updating with Morning Hair photos recently. I haven't been asking for them, and have barely taken photos of my own terrible hair. (And it always is terrible in the morning these days, ALWAYS.) I've discovered that posting to a second blog that's primarily just photos is even too much for me right now. I kind of started this blog thinking it would garner followers and bring them back to my bread and butter, I Still Hate Pickles. Instead, I just took my same followers with me from Pickles to Hair. After some time to think, I've decided to shut down this blog. I know. I know. BUT! I will continue to keep posting Morning Hair photos over at I Still Hate Pickles, even if they are only my own.

This weekend we had some lovely house guests-- Rob's Uncle Chuck and Aunt Suzy plus their four boys, Thomas, Michael, Noah, and Joshua. Uncle Chuck, inspired by my house and my blog, gave me this gem.
This is sort of a fashion shot of post-derby hair. I'm not sure: is this a beautiful look, or an insane look? Maybe little of both.

This is clearly the before coffee hair. I'd like to see the after coffee hair, just to study the positive effects of caffeine on hair follicles.
....at least you can have nice nails? Also, the hurricane shirt is fitting with the windswept quality.
I was strictly ordered to somehow blur out this Morning Face. It was hard to do, as there was a natural beauty AND a lovely expression present. However, thanks to Picnik, I applied this Christmas ball, leaving the eyes so you can all see how hard it is to look this good in the morning.
If you read my other blog, you know my kids have been sick this week, which means very little sleep. That should explain (a little bit) my sheer loveliness here. There's really no explaining away that five-finger forehead.
In case you didn't know, both roommates and neighbors LOVE for you to take photos of them at their loveliest and send them to a website to go out into the world. Here's one grateful roommate now! You can tell he wanted his photo submitted because, even though someone submitted for him, he took the photo himself.
I have a few muses for this blog. I am one of them (can you BE your own muse?), and then you'll probably recognize the others who pop up frequently. This is in part because my submission pool right now is small. And in part because they just have great hair, consistently. See?
This photo, from my too-cute friend Fiesty, was sent with this title: "Post-dog nap." This is her characteristic Feisty face, but it makes me think that maybe dog naps are smelly.
Houston has a lot of humidity. This has positive and negative effects. Positive: my skin feels great here. Negative: hair responds to humidity like little kids to massive amounts of chocolate.
Let's take a gander at one of the muses of this blog. Here we have her morning hair with humidity.

You know it's bad when you look at yourself with this expression of loathing. Or maybe it's just confusion?
